Contagion - For a few days after watching Contagion, I became a germaphobe.  If a movie can change the way I live for any period of time, it is doing something right.   2. Attack the Block - Humorous and action packed.  Where Super 8 disappointed, Attack the Block was there to provide all the summer alien adventure I needed.  The kids they found for this movie were perfect.   1. Win Win - Must see movie.  I enjoyed every minute watching this.  Paul Giamatti and Amy Ryan are always great.  Everything they do feels genuine.  This is a movie to seek out.   ARR Movie of the Year goes to Win Win Other movies that might have made the list had I had a chance to watch them: Drive, Moneyball and 50/50

AllRightRamblers Best Television of 2011 3. Louie Season 2 - Louis CK’s show on FX is brilliant.  He has found a new way to connect to the audience.  By accepting much less money from FX to make the show, the station keeps their hands off the product and Louis CK is able to do whatever he wants.  If you enjoy comedy and aren’t watching this show, you are cheating yourself.  2. American Horror Story - Not so much a scary show as it is a mind fuck, American Horror Story was a surprise to me.  I was certain I was going to hate this show but I gave it a shot just because Connie Britton was in it and Friday Night Lights was amazing.  I can see a lot of people not liking this show but if you enjoyed Twin Peaks, give it a shot.  I am interested to see what next season brings as it will be a whole new story with all new characters.  1. Breaking Bad Season 4 - Breaking Bad is in my list of best shows ever and season 4 was the best of the series.  Every episode left me wanting more.  The finale was incredible and rewarding.  I can’t wait to see how they wrap up this story next year.  ARR TV Show of the Year goes to Breaking Bad Season 4 Other shows that might have made the list had I had a chance to watch them: Homeland and Game of Thrones
